Is this “Pay-to-Play”?

No. We do not charge for airplay. We charge for access to the platform’s infrastructure. Your registration fee or subscription covers your webstore setup, financial backend, media hosting, and specific Single/EP/Album (SEA) release credits. We charge for the tools, not the favor.

What does the Registration Fee cover?

This is a one-time investment that powers your launch. It covers your account configuration, secure payout setup, and media storage. It also includes 5 complimentary SEAs (releases) to get you started immediately.

Do I keep my rights?

Always. You retain 100% ownership of your masters and publishing. WCR is the vehicle for your music, not the owner of it.

Do I have to commit to a monthly subscription?

No. We offer a Solo (Pay-As-You-Go) plan designed for artists who release on their own timeline. You can pay per Single, EP, or Album release. Our subscriptions (Builder and Pro) are optional upgrades for artists who want recurring benefits like discounted services and the ability to bank studio time for our upcoming physical facilities.

How is my music chosen for airplay?

By real people. We do not rely on “black box” algorithms or bots to decide who gets heard. Our team of passionate curators and DJs listens to submissions to identify and amplify authentic talent based on quality and fit.

What is an “SEA”?

SEA stands for Single, EP, or Album. It is the credit we use for releases. Your initial registration fee includes 5 free SEAs, giving you a strong creative runway to release a mix of singles or longer projects immediately without extra cost.

Is this platform just for solo artists?

No. WCR is a home for bands, duos, and collectives, too. We celebrate collaboration and have built our platform to support groups just as effectively as individual creators.

Do you accept AI-generated music?

No. We are a platform dedicated to human expression. We believe that music is about connection, lived experience, and the story behind the sound things an algorithm cannot replicate. We prioritize authentic, human-created art and do not accept fully AI-generated tracks.

When is the platform launching?
